I have this battery and have used it for about a year with no troubles. I couldn't justify the cost of the odyssey brand.

I've had it for over a year and it's still going strong. Just bought another 1 to go in my other machine but I've not hooked it up yet. U cant beat it for the money.

I'm using it.

I my winch is running off of it, and i have noticed the voltage dropping below 10 volts pretty quickly when plowing snow (raising and lowering the blade). I have had it for a few months, and really haven't used it much. No issues so far

I've had the Mighty Max well over 2 years in my Pioneer and just bought one for the Talon.
Great battery no complaints here.

Bought the odyssey first time around and it died 1 month after the warranty expired. I couldn’t justify going that route again so I’m using the mighty maxx now... been ok for the past 4-5 months it’s been in. Even I f the mighty maxx only lasted a year, you could get three and still save money over the odyssey.

Also, the first mighty maxx I received from amazon had a hole and crack in the side, yet the box wasn’t damaged at that spot. As amazon wouldn’t take it back because it was a battery, I contacted mighty maxx, sent pic’s and they had a replacement sent and didn’t ask for the damaged one back... took a week from first contact to the replacement arriving, so not great but not terrible.

Thanks guys I truly appreciate the information. the mighty Max is definitely going to be the route I’m going to take. I think it will work just fine with what I plan on doing with my machine at this stage of the game.

Thanks again.

Does anyone have any pics of their setup? Do I need to order the L-brackets also?

just get a strap of some sort and run it under the battery before you drop it in the hole. It will fit nice and snug and you will need that strap if you ever want to get the battery out

I'm beginning my dual battery build, just ordered a winch and waiting on a bumper. How do you guys secure the second battery?

I cut two slits in the battery box and ran a small strap under the bottom of the box and over the top of the battery.
