Wrap mating parts with tape, cover with rubber hose, adjust catch/strike? Is there one way to do it? This is my last rattle and would be nice to know what has held up for a fix.

I had my seatback off a few weeks back doing something. I don't recall what.
But I do remember adjusting my latch a bit.
I did find the dump lever would not seat itself back home everytime it was used. Be sure to always push it down into place once you latch the bed. It might help a bit.

Mine wouldn’t adjust far enough to stop rattling. I zip tied a piece of fuel hose to the strikers. Works like a charm.

Excellent! Still haven’t adjusted it but don’t mind it being tight. I have other machines for doing dirt work and I can load and unload lumber without dumping... has to be stacked anyway. Ice is getting thick up here so my time for dialing this thing in for fishing is running low
