Exhaust second muffler or...

Hi All,

Has anyone had success installing a different muffler, second muffler or other mods to make the exhaust more quiet?


Some will want it for hunting and some for general pleasure.

Thanks, I saw this one as well as the Silent Rider, though looks like they don’t have a Talon specific Silent Rider yet.

Have you known anyone use this Kolpin stealth exhaust and if so what their results were?

Ive only ever seen them on the atvs. They get rid of the chirp on the older Rubicons and are definitely quieter than stock.

Agreed. I had one on my 01 rubicon and it was quite a bit quieter than stock. I don't think I really lost any power, if i did it was only a little. And i had 27" mud tires on it.

I've never seen one on a utv.

Just purchased a silent rider.The reviews said a 6db reduction so about half the amount of noise. They been around since 2016 made in N.C.USA-- koplin is Chinese.

They kill your power and stink something awful. That's trail riding anyway, if you're just tooling around you might be happy with it.

So for which model did you buy when buying through their site?

Is it installed then and if so is it as quiet as advertised?

Are there any issues with the tube when installing something like this?

Bought on amazon prime. It is for p5 only The silent rider easy install uses existing holes on frame and tight fit over exhaust pipe. All hardware included. 15 reviews detailing there experiences. BT-500 FOR YEARS 15-21

I have not installed yet but I have been looking at other that have for 2yrs now. everyone has said and posted many pictures showing how easy it is 10min. setup. The reviews are consistent saying no reduction in power.
