kinda related... anyone know of a cage mounted spot light similar to the spot light you would find mounted on a police car? I basically just want a 4" led pod on one of those unity swivel mounts that can clamp to the a pillar cage bar.
I am not sure where you would find something like that, maybe just do a google search but i'm sure you probably have tried that already.
Be advised the nilight brand pods i have mounted are trash so don't even bother with them. Worst led i have ever seen. I have something different on the way that should do the job.

I'd be interested in knowing what kind of LED pods you get a well. I have a cheap set on my bumper. They work, but the left one has water in it already. I swear the next set I get I'm going to go around the lenses with clear silicone calk, and cover the screws as well.
I used a relay and ran the trigger wire to the bight light wire plug right under the hood. There is also a kit you can buy on this site that lets you do this as well. I did it this way as I don't like adding another switch. So when I hit the stock switch to the brights, my led lights come on too. Obviously with a relay the power for the LED lights are from the battery/voltage rectifire.

I'm looking to get some pods for side vision that aren't to bright riding behind another rider, got a 20 inch Black Oak that's way to bright for that, got any suggestions?

They are pretty bright but if you had them directed off at a 45deg angle i think you would be ok. Sorry about the link, not sure how to get it to work. I bought them on Amazon.

Those are nice mounts, the location of yours won't work for where I mostly ride, you think they would work on the B pillar, you if I mounted them pointing at each other and the pods pointed on a 45, bet I would have to build some spacers between mounts and pod to able to tun turn them that far?

Are the pivots for the mirrors on the inside of the ROP's? We ride a lot of tight trails and if they hinge on the out side of the ROP's, I would tear them off first ride. We rub trees and all kinds of stuff. Can you use your lights ridding behind other riders? What brand? I like them!

They pivot outside but also will spin on the rollbar when hitting hard.
it was the only Aluminum clamp option I found that works well with the honda windshield.
i’ve bashed them on a lot of trees........

Did yours come with the harness, relay and switch? I just got back from measuring clearance from ROP to windshield, I have 1/2 inch?
