So I just bought a 1000-5 deluxe, I am confused on which windshield to buy. I live in Montana, here we run the roads, gravel trails and elk hunt. Then I take it back to Wisconsin and mainly all woods with brush and whatnot. So I heard that a full windshield will make me eat dust here on the dirt roads of Montana so I need a flip one. I dont' want it to get scratches in Wisconsin so I need a hard coated Poly one. I see the superlative ones but they flip up, we run the roads here at 55+ so people said they are unstable at those speeds. So maybe a flip down one? Found one but not hard coated? Any help here would be appreciated.

Gonna need a rear/mid panel to not eat dust.

I Honda glass one I use with a rear panel, I use it in the cooler months. Takes me about 15-20 mins to take on/off. Fabric doors once installed take about 10 mins to take on/off.

I now have a "bug-buster" brand to use when it warms up. It keeps light rain from really soaking you at lower speeds and keeps bugs and debris from hitting you. Dust goes right through, and it's immensely cooler in the warmer weather due to the ventilation it allows.

so I take the kids in the back seat, so having a window in-between us isn't going to work. Does a half windshield really take out the wind? Does it create that dust vacuum?

get the 5seat Rear panel not the mid panel or get both and you can run the soft mid panel when they aren't there. It just rolls up.

so a soft rear panel? where is the best place to buy one of those? Also, is that fold down windshield on ebay any good? $250. The one from super atv is 400 but reviews say that over 40 mph it gets wobbly when up. Not sure if I would do 40 with it up but not sure, maybe that is my best bet?
