I like roadkill but have not seen her in it yet, I will have to check it out! My 1st cousin in Longview Texas has a 2015 white Dodge Charger Hellcat and that thing is fast.

Is that the Roadkill that she does the burnout in her Top Fuel Car and Richard Rawlings hits the wall when they race Hellcat Challengers? I saw most of it.

It's the latest episode that dropped a few days ago called "double truck" or something. You have to be a subscriber to watch the latest, or wait 30 days or something like that.
Is that the Roadkill that she does the burnout in her Top Fuel Car and Richard Rawlings hits the wall when they race Hellcat Challengers? I saw most of it.
That sounds familiar. There are a few episodes I haven't seen.

Watch out for the Fords and Chevys this year. Both got new superchargers. Ford got a little extra displacement. Both are in the 7’s in pre season testing.

Looking forward to the Bradenton NMCA race coming up the week before the NHRA gators in Gainesville.

Should be an interesting year!

Fastest qualifier was a Cobra Jet at 7.70. The dodges and chevys were a bit off the pace.

The fords and chevies got more blower (3.0) and more cubic inches for 2019. We will see how it progresses through the year. 7.70 on a 9 inch slick is hauling butt! Oh and they added 300 pounds to the V-10 Challenger, it must have had that class covered.

Leah and Mark just ran 8.04 in qualifying, Leah ran 170 and Mark ran 166 mph. Mark Pawuk's car is good looking!

Cobra Jet for the win.

The CJ’s had the power and ran fast in qualifying. But they struggled in eliminations and definitely had some growing pains with their new set up. Pawuk and Pritchett did their thing and kept beating faster cars. There’s something to be said for the skill of those drivers!

In the end, Skillman is a veteran and ran a great race and was super consistent all weekend and beat Pawuk in the finals.

It was an exciting weekend!!

Not sure if you have ever run with a .5 pro tree or not but they are quick, the car has to be quick also or you have to stage very deep.Glad to see Pawuk made the finals after qualifying 13th I think. He has an awesome looking car.

So qualifying for the Gatornats is complete, Drew Skillman is 5th and Leah is 6th, 7.829 to 7.852. Eliminations should be good.

Well Leah lost first round,she slowed to a 7.89 and her competition who had run 2 7.90's in qualifying ran a 7.79 first round :rolleyes:

Another good showing for the Cobra Jets.

Drew and Bill Skillman raced each other - both running a 7.73 with 0.041 and 0.042 lights, respectively. Drew got the win and went on to win the event.

It will be interesting to see how the NHRA reacts. The CJs and the COPOs are a little faster than the Mopars this year.

Last year they let the Mopars dominate all year. It will be interesting to see if they jump on the Fords and Chevys right away, or push Mopar to catch up.

So the NHRA rules department has released new rules for the 2019 COPO and Cobra Jet. The COPO will have a little over 10 percent reduction in blower boost and the Cobra Jet just over 17.5 percent reduction.

Yea, I saw that.

As a Ford fan, it’s a bit disappointing. Mopar stomped the competition most of last year with only a 25lb weight hit at the last race (my memory might not be perfect on these details).

But they jump on both Ford and Chevy after one good showing.

Ford and Chevy and their racers worked hard over the winter to improve and came prepared and ready to win. The Mopar folks remained status quo from last year.

It’s too bad that the NHRA penalized the ones that put in the effort to do better.

With that said, Ford and Chevy likely still have some optimization left to do and ought to be able to get some of what was taken away back. Hopefully they don’t get penalized again!

Looking forward to Atlanta (NMCA) and Charlotte!

She got bulbed in the second round of top fuel, she had an .80 bulb and got beat by a slower car.
