P500 Frame Caps in Club Store

Hello everyone. Newbie here. This may have been answered already, but if so, I could not find it.
The frame caps/plug set in the store says it fits the 2015 MY Pioneer 500. Does it fit any other years?

To my knowledge the only bit of frame that has changed since the 500's inception was the shape/size of the hip/shoulder bar above the doors. That said the frame caps should be good for all model years.

What product should I use to protect the inside of the tubes before I install the caps/plugs?
