Just got a new GPS Today to replace my old garmin Oregon 400t. The Garmin Drive Track 70 is a 7" screen vehicle based unit. It has lifetime map updates with Streets and Topos installed. It allows you to toggle back and forth between maps in two touches. It also allows you to download all gpsdepot overlays. It has some cool dog tracking features too. It allows you to save points and tracks just like a handheld. If you are in the market for something large screen that's not a tablet you need to take a look.
Garmin Basecamp software. (Free). Plug the gps into the computer and just download. The gps can store it or you can add a sd card and store it to the card.

I've got the Ultra 30 and the res is great. I run it at 1080p and 120 hz. Download to computer is fast but the upload to YouTube takes a while. Even on business class DSL 6 min video takes 1 hour to upload.
