One of you guys probably know....What is the glossy black tube called that I see in a lot of engine compartments or that protects multiple strands of wire in places like light bars? I can see it installed already in my p1000 but don't know what it's called or where I can find it. This is similar to split wire loom but its thinner and without the split.

Nope.

It reminds me of electrical tape. Except in a tube/conduit form. Thin wall, smooth, and no split like the spiral wrap or wire loom stuff.
Rubber wire sleeve. You can get it at lowes. Google rubber wire sleeve.

Ok I found an example of it on this site. If you look at the pinned lighting thread at the top of this forum you can see the jacket/protector coming off the brown wire illumination picture:

On my 2017 it's a shinier than the pic above. Here is another example. I don't think it's wire shrink unless they forgot to heat up. Most of the time the cables are loose in the jacket.

I should have more clear. It's the tube that is wrapping all of the wires to the connector with the brown wire.

Looks like heat shrink. You can use larger heat shrink and it will only shrink down to a certain size. That will leave the wires loose if you use a larger size.
