I am considering by a Pioneer 500 and have looked extensively for a bed option with many great ideas expressed here. I have looked into a Kawasaki Mule 610 bed....the created ones here, plenty of ideas. One item I haven't seen, but stopped at a golf cart shop and saw this and curious if anyone knows anything about them for this application, Madjax MJFX EZGO TXT Steel Cargo Utility Box with Mounting Kit | eBay

Whats your main purpose, just cargo or needeing dump option? Had a solid bed but it was hard to get mud out underneath. Switched to hitch cargo carrier and left off the hitch tube and cargo box allows good strap tie down points. . $79. P500 has been a solid machine, Im not a speed rider, just riding on trails with wife and maintaining property. Pics worth a thousand words. Like the easy in/out P500 seating. Good luck.

The vast majority is what you describe with your machine, plus I may on occasion need to transport an additional person to the back 40 so the rumble seat option shown by a member with the flip is interesting concept as well.

Mainly to put stuff in like yours with a possible need to transport another person to the back 40, so I'm leaning a bit towards the rumble/seat flip model shown by a member and get a front rack across the hood for small items..

Yes, that flip seat to a cargo bed is the way I would go if I needed 3 riders.
Post pic if you do it.

Our local Rural King sells these Sportswork Landmasters and will swing by there today to look over the bed in terms of size/likelihood of working on the P500. I have been the parts available online, so I will see what a "bed" cost delivered to Rural King, assuming the bed appears to work on the P500 and report back.

that was my plan as well but my local Rural King was not cooperative until i got the manager involved and by then i had the Yamaha bed on it. Still looking at those as its the perfect size, let me know how it works out.
