I have a heated hoody as well as a jacket. If you throw a light weight outer shell or rain jacket. It really helps trap the heat.
Milwaukee sells a cigarette plug adapter if the battery is too bulky.

I have an Arris jacket and I plug it into a battery from my Ridgid set. Lasts a whole day and its nice on a chilly day. It’s USB powered so I can power it off the Pioneer and save batteries.


I will probably buy a branded one later since the knockoff works. I had a hard time justifying the cost without first hand experience.

I thought about getting one for 3 years. I have one now and love it. I also have the cord to plug it in to the DC plug on my Honda. It works even better with the cord. Best money I've spent in a long time.

Heated hoodie was so good, added the full jacket with heated pockets. 2 and 3 years and running. Already had some tools and batteries. Recommended.

I got the heated jacket last year and this year bought the vest... I am liking the vest more as I put it on an layer over top of it and it keeps me warmer. The DC plug is a must ... gets warmer than using the batteries

I was thinking I’d get the hoodie also, the jacket is so nice, I can wear that while I drive the VW, it has the same heat system my P500 has... none! Lol

I took a peek at the Craftsman and it says temp unavailable. Also saw some comments about discontinued power cords and such, so I'd be leary of it.
