Hey everyone, I'm about to put a deposit down for a new 1000-3 LE. Not too sure about the matte green metallic color, but I really like the rig overall. I was leaning towards a new Can Am Commander, but thought that would be too big of a vehicle for my first SxS.
I'm choosing the Honda primarily because of the geared drive shaft vs a belt CVT drive and the reliability of Honda. When looking at the Can Am I really liked the simpler maintenance schedule (every 2,000 miles). What is the suggested Honda maintenance schedule?
Also, I'm a little concerned about the heat issues I've read about online and heard about on videos around the seating area. I get that the engine is in the middle of the vehicle so heat will be factor. Is excessive heat still a concern with Honda P1000's?
Regardless, I'm still sold on the Honda and am looking forward to the new, neon green machine . . still not sure about that color.
