P500 Homemade Spare Tire Carrier

Well , I "THINK" this is the last of the mods I will be doing On my p500. I really can't think of anything else I need to do ,besides getting me some 26" Bighorns and I will be satisfied !!!!

I have a couple questions if you don't mind.
Can you get to the cooler while tire is mounted? Some of us get more thirsty than others!
If you can, do you have room for shocks like on a tailgate to assist to open?

Yes, you can get to the cooler with the tire mounted !

My original plan was to use gas struts, (and I still could) but I discovered that the cargo box lid,make's a great prop for the tire carrier !
