Is this the correct harness for a 2020 Pioneer 700 Deluxe I've down a search some sites show that this will work some reviews say it it won't.Want to put some lights on and use a relay and have them thru the switch

Power yes. Ground is only when in reverse.

This is what I used, 2018 700-2, plugged into the red capped connector, has 12v at all 4 wires with key on. Much cheaper to buy at the dealer than amazon.

Isnt the red one the diagnostic port? Not 100% sure I'd want to be messing with that…

I went to my local dealer and compared the different harnesses, the one i posted is the only one i could find a plug and play with. The one that the 700 calls for i think is intended to be used with the oem switch panel and would not work for me. I just used it for key on power, it is not intended to carry a heavy load so i wouldn't think you'd have a problem

I dont know about the amps, id say low just as a rule of thump. I used it to power the back lights on a switch panel which are led and my volt gauge and usb ports, the ports are 1-2 amps to charge you phone.

If you could figure out which fuse powers that red capped wire that would tell you the amps by the fuse size

I tested the connector with key on i only have 1 wire that has power out of the 4. Is there another switch that needs to be on to have the other three powered up?
