I just bought a '21 CRF250F yesterday I'm pretty excited about it! Haven't been on a dirt bike in ages, so thought I'd better stick to something pretty mild. Found a good deal on a lightly used model.

I had a 2016 CRF250L, a really nice bike, but I didnt use it enough. Sold it and got my P1000-3. Put nearly 4000 miles on the Pioneer in the first year I had it.

You’ll love it. IMHO that might be the best bike of all time for general woods riding. Had a couple. Wife’s has over 15k of woods no problems. Foolishly sold my crf250 a little bit ago, I’d like to get a 230 to replace it someday. Damn things hold their resale like crazy

I have an ancient Honda XR250L it's a 1991. I don't ride it as much as I would like to. Just never seems to be enough time. Now that the price of gas is what it is, I might be riding it to work.

Decided to grab a CRF250F as well. My son and I went to the dealer to get oil for his little TTR 50 and he "convinced" me that getting a dirt bike would be a good idea. I did a quick Cycle Trader search and saw that a dealer close to me was getting one in that week. I absolutely love it. I'm 200 lbs so it's a little squishy even with the spring cranked up but it'll work for now.
I'm right there with you on that....I need to upgrade my suspension or lose some weight....but really, with the type of riding I do, it works. Other than that, I could not be happier with the bike.
are you sure that's a 250 not a 230? or even a 150?

Looks like a 230 to me being air cooled and booted front forks.

They've replaced the 230 with a 250. Similar chassis, engine is different and fuel injected.
Even better then the 230, imo. With shim valves, it'll probaly never need a valve adjustment.
