Happy social distancing to all! I just placed a deposit on a new 2018 P1K LE today. I’ll be picking it up in a week. Ive been following the website all winter, learning the ins and outs of the Pioneer 1000. I realize there was a clutch cover update done at some point on these units, as well as a cabin comfort kit. Does my 2018 already include these updates? Thanks, Jay.

OK great! Thanks. I’m assuming the only P1K that didn’t come with power steering in 2018 was the base model So I should be all set there. I bought this thing sight unseen from a dealer 4 hours from here (Maine). I’ve already purchased a Warn Axon 45S with the Warn winch bumper. I have a set of Pitbull Growlers in 27x9x12 mounted on beadlocks going on all 4 corners. I went with 12’s for ride quality. The setup measures 27.5” overall. Can’t wait to get started.

The base model 3 seater didn't have power steering. Don't forget pics;)

I’ll be picking up in a week. Dealer said the rear diff was leaking so parts are on order. I’m still on the fence with a windshield. I am going with a Honda upper soft doors and soft rear panel with Honda hard roof. I would like Honda glass but I’m concerned about heat so I may go with a SATV flip. I live in Maine so summers aren’t too hot. Warm rides are in the 80’s. Most days are 60’s and 70’s. I mostly trail ride, no mud, move along 25-45 mph. 100 mile days are commonplace. We are riding what is snowmobile trails in the winter. Logging roads and railbeds. We have 4 ATV’s in the family. This is our first buggy. Here is my fleet.

Oh yes. I’m sure the winch setup will look great. The wheels will look different seeing how most people shy toward 14’s or 15’s. I managed to cash in on the last of the STI HD beadlocks from RMATV at $75. Closeout. The Growlers were $80 a piece on sale during Veterans Day.

Would have went with 12s but I wanted 30in tires and I couldn't find any that would fit that rim size:) but I can't wait to see what yours will look like;)

I chose the same accessories as you as far as cab configuration with the Super ATV windshield. It requires some attention between the top of the windshield and roof to block the air and rain from entering the cab. This can be accomplished with $15 worth of pool noodles. Nice and toasty with that set up. I’ve ridden the last two nights with temps in the upper 40’s lower 50’s in a t-shirt.

I had a 1998 300 4X4. Yours is pristine as was mine when I sold it. Have a mint 2009 Black Rubicon that will be going up for sale soon. Hate to see it go, but have no need for it with the side by side. I kept it for others to ride when I bought the 700 Pioneer in 2016. It hasn’t served a purpose since so I’m gonna sell it for some more fun stuff for the new LE.

Supposedly the buggy will be ready next week. I just had to put the horse in front of the cart and get the trailer first. I had an enclosed trailer, but it’s too short. This one will do just fine. Picked it up this morning. These are made by Alcom which is an hour from my house.
