Since my deer season is over but I still have Deer fever, let's see your bow setup and stand that your pioneer hauls around. This is mine although I didn't get to hunt with my pioneer this year since I got it December 8th.

Ever heard of a Trap Door arrow rest I have two, they have no strings, no cables, no nothing that attaches any where other than mounting to the riser. The way they work is on vibration off the riser and can be adjusted for the smoothest bows, just cock and release. Some big arrow rest company must have bought them, they are no longer made. As for my bow I have an old Hoyt short, twitchy unforgiving valley. And shoot a 23 inch arrow with G 3 broad heads. God gave me my draw length. We have CWD here and spreading into bordering counties, I have lost interest in hunting sick deer. I have thought about up grading to a newer bow to shoot competitive target. I used to come home from work and fling 100 arrows a night, You get to know you set up pretty well doing that. And use Winner strings, then they get off, replace them. There worn out. I've got a stick bow also that we play horse with like basketball.

I hunted for almost 8 weeks this fall. 3 states, archery, muzzleloader and rifle and I agree with your wife........

I purchased a defiant turbo when they came out loved it, great shooting bow for a couple hours My only problem the bottom limb cracked day one. I shot the bow at the dealer, did full setup, got home and started to zero at 10 yards and was all over the place. I took it back to the dealer to see if it was just me, shot a few times in front of the dealer, pulled it back one more time and snap crackle snap, bottom right limb cracked. Dealer said if he didn't see it in person he would have thought I did something to it. Hoyt was gonna warranty the bow and put brand new everything on it but I had lost confidence in the bow and the dealer took it back but he didn't have anymore in stock so I kept my no cam

Very good shooting bows, I shot evey new bow this year and decided to keep my no cam. I have had full pass through at 62 yards

I have had PSE for 30 years. When I touched the Elites I liked the full draw but wanted more speed.I had almost bought the Halon till they put a carbon in my hand..... I didn't seal the deal on a buck this year but freezer likes Doe too
Summit viper for me. Our archery season Was very hot this year...and the ticks are getting cray here....I do hunting at Maryland as well. Wish someone would welcome me out to Ohio.. hint hint

I have a crossbow, thats if you guys are interested in that. They made it legal in 2016 to hunt with a crossbow.

Missouri made crossbows legal for everyone this year, so it really opened the door for a lot of people. Missouri bow seasons starts September 15th and goes through January.

Many moons ago I was into the tournament 3D archery. 20 years ago I was really into the 3D archery tournaments below was from my 1994 Season shooting a Jennings UniTech. 83 Trophies all just of 1st, 2nd, 3rd place finishes. Had my son shooting at age of two he is 5 in the picture and my Dad also pictured didn't start until he was 60. I had no money but sure had a lot of fun back then with my Dad and son.
