Hydro dippin shocks/ springs

Anyone think it would wear off fast if I hydro dipped my shocks camo?

My immediate thought when I read your question was... Mine are covered in mud within 2 minutes of riding. It wouldn't matter if they were blaze orange.

That said: The factory paint seems to be holing up on mine. I don't see why another paint wouldn't.
