thank you.
i'm always amazed when i see this being done...
i know personally people who did this and things went horribly wrong at the worst time. People got hurt.
Secure the unsprung areas for your safest and most secure trailering and less wear and tear on your suspension.
if you don't like sprung vehicle movement, secure that separately.
And please always secure the rear of your trailered rig to stop forward movement (more important than securing the front).
a trailered vehicle joining. you in the truck cab due to a panic stop or collision is ugly and can be deadly.
OF NOTE: Trailer bonnets that go straight to the single point 6
clock postion only keep your rig on a trailer as long as the brake or transmission is locked, and will do nothing in a collision that overcomes the brakes or transmission. (if you don't believe it, test it yourself by loading your rig, securing it with this type of bonnet, release the brake and or shift to neutral and roll it easily forward or back.
Stay well my friends.
