P500 Insurance?

Wondering if I should get insurance for the P5 and RZR 170. Thoughts??

Bought my daughter a RZR 170 a couple of years ago but did not insure it. Personally, I have never owned a sxs or atv until recently. Purchased the P5 to group ride with my daughter and wife. I should have done this a long time ago. We are having such a great time and look forward to exploring new trails.

I live in Ontario Canada. If we want to ride on the shoulders or even cross a road we must have liability insurance. Because I am brand new to this, and considering what I paid for the machine, I fully insured it, including fire/theft and collision. I am paying $380 (CDN) {$288(US)}

I pay $212 a year through Allstate. That's with an extra $5k of coverage for accessories. Peace of mind is money well spent.

I have my machine insured with progressive. It’s not that expensive and I do ride it on the road so one less thing to worry about.

Mine is fully covered by Nationwide, same coverage as my street vehicles, $100 deductible, towing etc, if I can get it back to asphalt they will send a tow truck.

All of ours are insured. My agent told me not only for theft or damage but if someone is with you when you roll over go ahead and plan on them sending a law suit your way. In my opinion it’s a cheap piece of mind.

I have liability only with Safeco for 92.00 a year. If a passenger gets hurt, friendship goes out the window. Also my p500 is street legal.

Yeah, I ran into that with my home. You use to be able to buy as much insurance as you were willing to pay for, not anymore.

I use Progressive Insurance also, main concerns for me are Fire and theft. In California, where I live, it'll either burn up or some dirtbag will steal it. I think my yearly insurance coverage is around $200 a year.

Bought insurance for $205.00 full coverage through American Modern Insurance
It also covers Accessories....

It's cheap and well worth it, especially if stolen, totaled, etc.
