Was hoping to get lucky and find used parts , don't want to sink $350 in something that may not work out as planned.

Interesting, looking at the part numbers, the rear knuckle and the hub on the P500 are HL3 parts.
That means they are the same part as the P700 rear knuckle and hub.
Used e-bay or junk yard parts from a P700 maybe?
(lot more P700s out there to pick from than just the pool of P500s)

That's it , I found the entire assembly for $50 on ebay and a member has the axle for me........ Thanks for the help!!!!
