It's getting unseasonably dry out here in Southern CO & Utah

I'm about 80 miles downwind and have been watching the smoke column from this event for the last few days. Two days ago we had ash fall from it on our deck. Some years there's still snow in this area at the higher elevations. Be careful out there! Hopefully we will get some rain.

It's going to be a bad fire season here in the southwest.

Sigh.....we have the ranch fire/foam skid unit set up and operational as of yesterday......three weeks earlier than ever before, several thousand gallons of back up water put up and thinking about another fire pump. Not a sunset I want to see.
