JJ's Talon 1000R-4 "work in progress"

I took everyone's advice on my previous post, sold my P1K5 LE, and joined the cool kids club with a 2024 Talon 1000R-4. Not a huge fan of the white, but a small sacrifice to make since red is the main color and everyone knows Red is the fastest color. I'm gonna make the time to build and enjoy the Talon which is something I never did with the Pioneer. Figured I'd go ahead and start a build thread since everyone likes to help others spend some money. So with that said, I'm open to suggestions on the must haves and the should wants.

1. Desertcraft pre-filter from 10-80 Dirt Sports (installed)
2. Bosman front bumper direct from Bosman (ordered)
3. Seat belt bypass from club store (installed)
4. Custom packout mount from @-Bear- (ordered)
5. OEM fender flares from dealer (installed)

Welcome from Michigan. Even though you got the OEM fender flares coming, you'll likely end up adding the Mudbusters as well.

Superatv has windshields 25% off right now so definitely looking to pull the trigger on one or the other. Haven't seen anyone's build using the assault but numerous with the superatv. For those running the superatv, likes and dislikes?

Look at MotoArmor or UTVzilla. Both have a center whole coverage wiper with vents. I got the MotoArmor, and like it. Same company.

I have the Superatv glass windshield. The grommets are junk, ripped immediately when installing. The Phillips head bolts are too long and nearly touch the plastic on the bottom mounts. I installed shorter allen heads to make removal and installation easier.

Priority item #1 get a turbo!

Joking but what everyone says about trail armor skid plates is accurate. I’ve put this through the wringer and those skid plates live to tell the tale. It gives me the confidence needed for rock crawling at hidden falls. Just had a trip last weekend at barnwell mountain and this thing performed amazing! Turbos brand new so haven’t tested it out yet. Just installed it on Saturday. You’re gonna love this machine!

Again, late to respond, but I have the SuperATV glass windshield and my biggest dislike is the limited reach on the wiper. I would prefer one that covers the entire window so I may be swapping that out at some point.
