Based on threads started recently, he was interested in price, and price alone. When one is concerned with only price, they tend to settle on whatever colour they can get the best deal on.
This^^ I got my shale blue 17 for around $2400 less than a red one because the dealer has sat on them for almost a year with no interest. I too was planning on swapping out the plastics for the LE plastics but now I have wheels, tires, and accessories the color had kind of grown on me.

$12,700 with a roof here. I traded in a 17 Ranger 570FS and they gave me what I was going to sell it on craigslist for so it was a no brainier. The red one was $14,979 out the door.

No. I got $8k for my trade and paid the remaining with a check. I didn't finance any of it so that couldve helped. I just pulled my papers and realized I told you guys a lie. I paid $500 down the Saturday before to lock the deal in. I signed all the paperwork and delivered my trade on the following Tues. So if you include that it was 13,200.
