Same wire works.
Look for the Black/White coming out of the 10amp fuse. It runs to the Acc plug and will give you key on power.
Thanks.

Something is not working. There are 4 relays next to the fuse box, 3 black and one blue. I pulled those out, and under one of them is the "white with black stripe." I put the red probe of my meter into the connector under the relay, so it is touching the terminal of the wire, and put the black probe on the neg terminal of the battery. I turn the key on and expect to see around 12 volts.......nothing. This is the same way I did the P1000.

Not sure what I am doing wrong.

I spliced into the lighter outlet wire for my switched power.

No.. Not the one under the relays.

*The one under the 10amp fuse.

The ACC fuse. It is the same wire as the lighter outlet on all machines. It is key on power.

This is too easy and too cheap. Much cleaner than splicing.
Yes, it fits the 700.

The connector that the aux outlet connects to the main wiring harness.

You unplug it and plug this harness in between.

Remove the hood.
The fuse box is on the left.
The harness is routed behind the fuse box.
Reach behind the fuse box and swing the harness out.
You will find the mating connector taped to the harness with a cap on it.
Remove the cap, and plug the sub harness in.

Edit:
The cap and plug are the same color as the sub-harness.
I added a glob of di-electric grease.
Install time 1-2 minutes.

I decided to go the lighter route. I had the "Posi-Tap" and wanted to get this done.
That's what I did.. I didn't know the 1000 had a backup alarm plug until last night while looking at the wiring diagram. Had I known or if I have problems with the Lodi-tap I'll use it and the little pigtail harness to get my keyed power.

I assumed all 4 are positive (+) power. The first one I used was/is.

correct they are I just didn't know if one was for certain accessories or not. when I purchased the harness it said one was for a back up alarm so I didn't know how it recognized when it was in reverse.
