I got one coming. The price is right.....and I think KFI makes pretty good stuff. Far cheaper and better than I can do it. ;)

The mount looks straight forward. Not sure about your winch....but they aint that tough for the average guy with a few tools.

DG Rider thanks for the information on the Pioneer Winch Mount. I too have ordered one. It looks to be sturdy enough, but if it isn't, it's inexpensive and should get me through the winter. I'm hoping Warn comes out with an integrated winch and front bumper combo at some point.

Just got home and found the se45. It's packaged well and most of the plastic components have the kfi logo made into them. The winch is black with two stickers on it. It also has some numbers on the front of it engraved. I'm sure one is the serial but not sure on the other unless it's some kind of model number.

It is made in China just like 99% of the rest I just hope it was specked out better. I looked at a lot of them online and just bit the bullet and got this one.

Yep. Someone even mentioned that Warn is from China.

I'm seriously thinking of one of these...

$219, but can be had for well under $200 with a sale.

$137 from Amazon.

Before you start laughing, check out the reviews for them. Very good!

It appears to mount atop the bumper tubes. As bigc had mentioned, on a heavy pull, the tension on the tubes may be excessive. I had originally designed a mount like these, but had scraped that idea and gone to a design that attaches to the vertical round tubes behind the bumper.

Would like to see your review on this mount once you have it ready to go.

I saw a champion at Tractor Supply for a little over $100 on sale but was in a hurry and wasn't sure about the quality. Me thinks I may have missed a good deal.

Wsa thinking about ordering one of theese as well, In my mind im a little concerned about mounting to the detatchable bumper. Looks easy enough I guess mounting the winch upside down would hurt nothing. How does the factory mount atatch does anyone know. Im leaning towards the superwinch terra 45SR seems like it gets as good as reviews as any as i have seen and can be bought cheaper than most. My last Honda I bought was a 300 4x4 4 wheeler. I have always been a Honda fan was a little surprised about how thin the tubing is on the frame and A arm brackets, looks like you could bend it with channel locks. even the plastic on the bed is thin, I guess thats the way everything is made now days. Just hope the engine and tranny are bullet proof like the old Hondas. Thanks and God Bless..

What brands/models of winches have folks installed on their Pioneers? I assume any 3K-4K winch will fit with the right bracket? I don't want to add "length" to my P2 due to trailer size.

TIA!
