Labor Day Weekend ride at Peters Lodge

Had a wonderful time at our Cabin (Peters Lodge) with @trigger and his wife. Enjoyed showing them our cabin that My wife Rhonda and I have spent a lot of time to make it as homie fun in the woods like as possible. We love to have the company and share what we have with others. So having @trigger and Tammy as guest were no exception! They took very well to our 2 crazy black labs and they even brought some pulled pork to go with our country fried spare ribs. We took to the trails of great northern Michigan with our machines that are just a football length drive from the cabin, and away we went! A few stops along the way and a nice thoughtful conversation with the local sheriff patrolling the trails (trying to convince them to get a pioneer next time) lol we came back to grill and sit by the fire for the evening with some great stories. They are invited back anytime. @PistonHonda couldn't be with us Sunday but will be here today to visit, and we look forward to that. Thank you all for visiting we greatly appreciate it! Friends, please come again!

Glad to hear you guys had a great weekend. Sorry we missed out on meeting up with you yesterday but hopefully get to on the fall color ride in October. Did about 80 miles in the sxs and a boat ride on the Indian river with son and grandson yesterday. Enjoy and safe trip home.

Tammy and I both fell in love with the dogs, she used to have a lab and I've had dogs my whole life so making friends with them was instantaneous. Wish Piston and his wife could have been there to round out the Regulators, it was kinda like not having Kiefer in the movie, they were in our thoughts anyway. By the time we rolled in and got unloaded it was 12:30 am but it was worth it. We definitely plan to visit again and thanks again for the hospitality.

What kind of trails and how long is the system, I've had this crazy idea about doing rides all over the states, locals guiding and tell us about lodging. My wife is in education, so that means summer for us, North would work and get the S x S club involved?

Our trail system goes forever up north Michigan DNR . Gov you'll find the maps. I live in southern michigan Ann Arbor Detroit area. It's 3 hrs to my place from there. Kinda gives you an idea. But there is pleanty to do up here besides ride. Mackinaw city, the island, casinos, soo locs pictured rocks just to name a small few. Pure Michigan.org will get you to that stuff.

Just got done with a visit from @PistonHonda and his wife. Had a nice lunch and took piston on a short ride in the P1K5. Enjoyed the company even though we had a lot of rain today.
@trigger piston and I farted with the camera and looked at the ride from yesterday booooo I had it in slow motion! Although your hand jesters in slo mo was funny as hell! Was extremely slow and painstaking to watch.

We had a great time seeing your place @Remington and we loved the dogs too... even with all of their talking. They sure made us feel welcome! Since it took us hardly any time to get there we know we'll be back for more. Thanks for having us!

Sounds like great times. Nothing better than spending time with friends in the bush, woods,forest or what ever term you want. I am Canadian and use bush. Lol
