P1000 LED dome lights with dimmer knob

Figured I would share my latest addition: Dome lights. After searching the forum and seeing some good ideas I figured I would give it a try. I did not want super bright blinding interior lights so I went with three very thin 7 inch LED strips in a "warm white" color temp. I found a seller on Amazon called Oznium. They offered the LED strips for the overhead "dome lights" and dimmer knobs that I could mount on my factory switch plate. Add some 3M double sided sticky tape, some wire to connect it all, and some heat shrink loom.. Done! I like that I could easily mount the knobs and control the brightness. So far so good.... I added a second dimmer knob to the switch plate so I can add a dash light. I found a 90 degree LED button light that should do well. I just haven't found the perfect spot to mount it yet... When I do I will follow up with photos. The loom was a heat shrink kind that I should have gotten a smaller diameter but it works and looks good. The 3M tape was super thin so I ended up doubling it for more width. It worked well. I used regular butt connectors and rings for attachments and connections.

Great job. Looks good. Used a similar dimmer for the LED strip lighting I installed under the dash on the P1K5. Bought a 2nd one and some strip lights like yours for use as a "dome light" like you, but haven't gotten around to installing it yet.

@NickInAz Looks good. Did the same back in 16’ on my P1k5 got the Idea from @joeymt33 that did it in late 15’. Worked great till this day.
Also had one in my truck for ambient lighting

Coincidentally, I used the same dimmer switch for the solar powered LED downlight in the gazebo up on the mountain behind my house, ordered from Amazon back in '20. It's been a good reliable little dimmer.
