Found this 1000-3 on craigslist earlier. Just getting broken in at 13k miles. Time to upgrade!

I currently have 2,327 miles on my 500. I was just looking for justifications to buy a 1000-5.
2328 and they grenade.

Mine has 2100+. Come may, I will have zoomed right past you, so you better get on it. 700 had 8950ish and was still going strong. I'd give both to about 15k until I started getting real worried.

This is where the 1000 has an advantage I think. Crusing fire roads is a 25mph or rev the piss out of it to go faster deal with the 500/700. The 1000 can cruise at those speeds with much less rpm per mile. I'd expect 20-30k miles easy, if it's used mostly as a trail machine

So the only @100Acre I know is single.
Lot of advantages to being married but buying toys on a whim is not one of them.
Maybe you could go here and explain this to me:

I just want more leg room and space for my fat dog and I'd like to bring other people and gear, and go faster. it'd be easier to bring a date and still bring the dog. At this point my right knee is way over in the passengers side. Raiding with anyone else in the p5 is tight. certainly very difficult to bring another rider and my dog.

Honda builds a bombproof machine.
I sold a 2005 Honda S2000 (my commute shrunk from 60 miles to 12, and all on straight roads) that in the time I had it needed (other than routine maintenance) a battery (the original lasted 10 years), tires, and a belt. I sold the fastest Honda 2 seater for the littlest Honda 2 seater and couldn't be happier. The P500 might even be more fun. Plus, the P500 begs to be modified, but I never saw a tricked out S2000 that was smarter than the Honda F1 engineers.

I plan on getting 20K out of my P500, and I'm over 10% there.

I wish I could modify some left leg room into mine.

I bought mine in October 2018, only 130 miles so far. At this rate, it should last me for the rest of my life. And I was tickled today watching a YouTube video of a tricked out Polaris Turbo S. The guys from sxsblog.com took all their different machines to some dunes to ride. The Turbo crapped out the belt within 3 minutes! Lol I’m a Honda/Yamaha guy from way back. I’d never buy a belt driven utv.
