P700 Lift it or not?

I have 27/9/12 Terrabites installed on my 2018 700/4 and have on hand, a 3" highlifter kit for the machine! What are the drawbacks of install, just asking for suggestions? You SXS'ers that have installed a lift kit on a 700, would know. I really don't know why I purchased it (lift kit) but since I have it, might as well!

if you dont need it wouldnt do it personally, 27s fit fine without. installing a lift puts you suspension at different angles, wears things like tires axles, bearings, could make it ride bad too
if you ride in places where you need the clearance keep that in mind, axles are probably 150 each

I run 27s also with no lift. I have had lifts in the past on other machines, they went through axles in my case from the extra angle. It also would wear out my tie rod ends , also from the angle. I won't do it again. But if you like it go for it. Everyone should do what they like and enjoy it.

I say lift.
You are in Northeast Texas. I know that Texarkana is muddy, not rocky.
Mine is lifted. It is less stable at 45 mph, but I don't get stuck as much.

i am running 27x10s and 27x12s executioners and not sure on the 3 inch skyjacker lift. i did the cheap bottom shock mount plates for lift. supposed to be 2.5 inches only got 2 in front and 2.25 in back. havent had a problem in 5 yrs. and my sway bar is disconnected in rear

iv have 2 inch on mine for 5 yrs and stock shafts in mine other than 1 i broke cause a strap wrapped around the tire while driving 45 mph down a bumpy road. lol. 5 yrs on 3 4 yrs on 1

relocation lifts are easier to install. my friend has shock blocks and his rides a little stiffer than mine does. i put the strong made relocator lift on mine and it didnt take long. 1 person can do it easy with a standard tool kit from wally world and a jack. the spring blocks however need a spring compressor and if you have one its not bad to do but doing it with 1 person is a pita

Mine come from Honda shop with 27's. They stated no lift. I haven't had any problems.

you havent ever tweak the suspension and had tires hit up front? mine did from stock. with 27sx10s. stock rims. but didnt after the lift. and are they true 27s? is the bigger question lol

I would have to check and see if they are true 27's. Never rubbed or anything. Does have aftermarket wheels on it.

You need to answer some questions first.
Do you ride it hard?
Can you afford buying tires more frequently?
Can your checkbook put it back together after parts are worn out?
Are you married and will your wife find out?


If this common sense post is pissing you off then you already made up your mind. Go install it, be happy with your bada$$ lookin' ride and post pictures.
