I'm not to familiar with light bars but I would like one. Which brand is the most durable? Which one do I need for my P500? I think I read that some may overload the battery so before I go and order one I thought I'd ask you guys. Thanks in advance

@TibbyFigueiredo Welcome to the club! Many will claim that the RIGID brand is the most durable but they sure are proud of them. Most any LED light bar running CREE LED's with an IP67 rating will serve you well, you can go up to a 30" light bar on the P500 but given its top speed of 40 any of the double row LED light bars 12" to 20" will suit your purpose. Here is a decent 20" LED bar that meets the above criteria for $36.60 so it doesn't break the bank conversely a 20" RIGID dual row LED light bar is $665 or 18x more money for a similar product.
Amazon.com: TMH 20'' Dual Row High Power 126w Cree Xb-d SMD LED Work Light Bar 13000 Lumens: Automotive FOR $37
----- OR -----
Rigid 20 FOR $665

Both of these bars have extruded aluminum housings, put out approx. 13,000 lumen and draw 120 watts. So even if you broke 5 of the LED bars off of Amazon you are still $500 ahead, I have never broken one and it has been smacked pretty hard by tree limbs mounted above my roof.

Why can you only go up to a 30" lightbar? Due to amp draw or physical size. I've seen bigger on these (40" on roof)'

If you are mounting an LED bar on the TOP of the P500 approx. 30" is as long that will fit on the cross member using mounts on the ends of the light bar, the o crap handle gets in the way. Not saying a 40 won't fit but more to the point will your stator keep up with a 350 watt light plus everything else added. I don't know the answer but I wasn't going to push my luck either.

On the other hand the 30" I have is like 16K lumen and there is no way the P500 can out run the amount of light it puts out even WFO downhill on the road.

I have a 14,400 Lumens curved 42 inch Light Bar 240 watts. I have it pointed approximately 10 degrees up and it shows a brilliant light. I wired mine using the Sub Auxilary Harness. It's excellent at night when I take the Grandchildren spotlighting.
