Part number remains the same for 2015 - 81504-HL3-A00.
If it changed, Honda always changes the PN.

Just an update here.... I have worked with a 2015 owner and he has confirmed that my cables do fit the 2015 models.

Here we go again..... Looks like the 1000 has the same weird sloped tailgate as the 700. I guess they weren't listening. Anyways, same deal as before.

I will give a free pair of cables to the 1st 1000 owner who works with me on this. Just need to test the fit of these cables and make any length adjustments if needed.

Going fishing on the 18th but I doubt the 1000's will be out before I get back.

It does look flat in that pic but kind of hard to tell with everything covering it. Had another guy out at a test ride who (obviously) saw it in person and said it was sloped. We shall see....

LOL. I wouldn't recommend sitting on it no matter what position it is in. The thing is flimsy and the cable tabs on the tailgate itself bend when you set anything substantial on it. Honda really dropped the ball here. It must have been designed by a geek that lives in a one bedroom cubby.

Yep thats pretty much what started this whole thing. My brain kept telling me there was something wrong every time I looked at it.
