P1000 Looking at Truck Tires

600 Miles of Rocky Trails and Asphalt Roads and the Stock Front Tires are Done. I'm going with truck tire's now. Probably 27x9.50x14 Super Swamper SSR or Maxxis Bighorn 27x8.50x14. Who has done this truck tire route. Pics and advice appreciated.

What? What was your previous tire that only lasted 600 miles? Also, sounds like you need to do an alignment if the front tires are gone and the rears aren't. There are several good a/t tire options out there. I just bought tusk Terrabites. I haven't gotten the mounted much less put any miles on them yet. But I heard good things. If you're set on going with a truck tire I'd buy some 15" rims and open up a LOT more options!

You have a alinement issue, no tire will last until you correct it.

Ive been all.over the board looking at tires. Found these on ebay. They are made by quadboss. 8 ply and dot rated.

Let us know what height they are mounted. I had read somewhere that they ran pretty small. I found some 30s for 550 shipped. But if the 28 run pretty true thats the route ill go.

I've seen that as well. I'll be happy of they are basically the same size as stock. I wouldnt mind if they were a bit bigger though

I want to stay as close to 28 as possible. Dont want to have to do a arms and lift if they run true and i have already bought 30s

I'm running 235/75/15 bfg ko2, 2800miles and no sign of wear at all. They measure 28 1/2" tall. 15x7 wheels on 5+2 offset
