P1000 Lt tires and wheels

I've got a 2016 1000-3 eps that is stock.
I would like to go with light truck tires 235-75-15 tires. I also need the wheels and spacers. I don't mind steel wheels, not looking to spend a fortune. For tires I like the buckshot murders or something similar. Can anybody out there who has this combo give an old dude some tried and true advise?
Thanks for any info. Currently running stock 12 inch steel wheels and tusk Terrabites.
I like the idea of LT tires for cost and longevity, plus I find myself on the blacktop more than I care to admit. Thx.

I have 30x10x15 LT Achilles Desert Hawk MT’s. I like them, have had them for 2 yrs. if you just doing black top mostly, any steel wheel will work for you. I do have forward arched arms front and rear. 1” spacers in the front and 1-1/2” in the back to help with clearing in steering

Lt tires are much heavier. The tires you are talking about are 57lbs each and that is for the 6ply. Steel rims will be around 18 lbs. The total will be around 75lbs (+- 5lbs) per tire or 300 lbs total. I would guess you will notice a loss of power.

I think mine are around 46-47lbs too, been a while since I checked Noticed maybe a little drop in power, but who cares! I’m not drag racing lol. I have 1,100 miles on mine since I installed them. No issues.

I’ve looked at just about every LT tire out there in 235/75r15 and I haven’t found anything to be over 50 lbs. In fact there are a lot of options under 40 lbs per tire. Like these guys said above, they will last a LONG time and have great puncture resistance.

I'm running these. Never had an issue with them. Had them machine balanced and they don't shake at any speed. I have SATV front a-arms and 1.5" spacers on the rear.

don't worry about the power loss. It's very insignificant. Mine will still hit the rev limiter sometimes on flat ground. Up until max speed, I don't notice any power loss at all and maybe just a tiny bit when maxxed out. 235/75/15

I highly recommend using balance beads! Super smooth down the road!

Yes 1.5” spacers in the rear and 1”in the rear. The wheels are MSA beadlocks. There expensive but I don’t like buying things twice
