HondaSxS.com has now officially confirmed the lug pattern for the new Honda Pioneer 1000.

The new lug pattern is: 4/136 with 12mm studs @1.50" thread pitch.

Why Honda chose this new pattern is a mystery to us. I'm sure they have there reasons. We can only guess the switch is in preparation for future vehicles such as a Honda Pioneer Sport!

4 136

Thanks for posting, let the search for wheels begin!

Remember the P1000 is already 62.9" wide so rims offset will likely need to be 5+2 or 6+1 in order to stay close to OEM width. If you got 8" wide rims in 3+5 that would stick you at 70" wide approx. especially with 12" tires. So choose carefully.

Found some decent looking rims 4 x 136 mm with 5+2 offset, currently 20% available in black or machined. would be right at $100 per rim after discount.

Method Standard UTV Wheels

They also have single and dual bead lock version available but they get pricey.

Method 401 UTV Beadlock Wheels

So with their being a lot more selection on 4/137 wheels will they work ? According to what I've seen the teryx is 4/136 but when search for aftermarket wheels everyone is selling 4/137 , I've got 3 days to send my wheels off and I don't see any at 4/136 ???

Did you look at those in the links immediately above your post? Post #3 the method wheels 4x136 with 5+2 offset.

Yes I did but I forgot to mention that the place I bought them from doesn't offer any 4/136

I believe ITP also offers a few in the 4/136 pattern. Doing a search for Can Am commander 1000 compatible wheels will bring up both 136mm & 137mm even though the hub is 136mm actual. You just have to be very careful of each wheels spec. RMATV lists several styles using the commander 1000 as the vehicle but again will display all available rims in both 136 & 137 mm. A very vexing conundrum to say the least for all of us.

Yes it is I found somewhere that 136,136.5, and 137 are all the same since it was only like 1/2 mm on each side , I just wanting to recoup some of my money , if I ship out before the first all I will be out will be 26.00 shipping if after that I would have to sell and you know how it goes when selling you always lose !

Post 2 the stock back wheels is a 2-5 so to go to a 3-5 wheel it is only 2 inch wider 1 inch each side. The front wheels are smaller 1-4 I am not sure about that but when I load it on the trailer the front it is 2 inches smaller.

The real question is 4-136 the same as 4-137 What will that do to the balance and the studs would like Honda to say some thing on that

I have a question... It says 12mm studs. Is that length or diameter of the studs? I just bought wheels and they fit great but the nuts they sent are way too small to fit the studs on the hubs.

How can 4-136 and 4-137 be the same as some are saying. If Honda says 4-136 that's what I want, please someone I agree they fit but explain how they can be the same? Looks to me like there would be a slight vibration.

I have 4/137 on mine. No vibration, mine is street legal with car plates on it. I run around town with it all the time.

That's great in Oregon we can't license a vehicle built with an off road MSO
