P1000 Main Roll Cage Diameter

On the road and I'm pickin up pieces to make a few modifications to my 1000-3. Can anybody tell me what the roll cage diameter is for the top bar across the rear? Thanks

45mm or 1.772 inches

Most light and med duty 1.75 clamps will work. The heavy duty clamps require a little grinding to slip over the ROPS without damage to the paint.

If you don't want to grind on your mounts, you could always beef up the diameter of the bar with a few wraps of electrical tape and use a 2inch clamp. I'm not sure how well this would work for heavier accessories, but I have done this for my rearview mirror and its worked well so far.

I for one hate to start grinding on something before I can fit it up and make sure I like it.
