Hi,
As with everything, you much change or be left behind.
Currently, our forum software has reached END OF LIFE.

I have been working to prepare for the next version over the past few weeks.
Upgrading server and cleaning up old add-ons and files.

Now its time to upgrade!
I am hiring some help for this because one very important part to the financial success of the forum relies on this add-on that must be manually ported into the new upgrade.

WHEN????????????
I currently can not tell you when. This will be a joint effort between me and the hired support. I will ask for a schedule but can not guarantee it will not be during the day.
The goal is no later than months end.

DOWNTIME AND LOST DATA!
There WILL be some downtime during the upgrade. Expect 2 hours +-.
There could be some data loss. If so it should only be a post made during the upgrade time.

FEATURE LOSS.
We will lose some features of the site. We will gain many more.
Some also have to have some custom-built weeks after the upgrade.
Many of the custom features will go away, then I will work on adding them back.
I will start a thread for request once upgraded as a way to rank feature importance.

Today I have spent $1687 on just the update of the forum alone.
This is not a server cost. this is direct help and software license.
But in the end, I think it will be well worth it.

Wow, I am surprised it's end of life. This is the nicest forum site I have ever used (by far) with lots of cool features and a search function THAT ACTUALLY WORKS unlike many other forums.
Good luck with the upgrade process... hopefully not too painful.

I keep saying it, this is all yours we just make ourselves at home on it. Some of us don't bother to take our shoes off. Others of us puke in the middle of the floor and laugh knowing someone else will be by to clean it up....make it happen captain. We will do what we can to help you through it.

I had to hire some help and we are in the process of cloning the site to do a test upgrade.
If test goes well we will upgrade the site.

First you have to go through the double secret initiation. That involves a live chicken and a quart of Mazola. You must supply your own chicken.
