I just bought a 2020 P-1000 4 after decades on 4 wheelers. Now I have a stable and need to, want to, cannot, will not sell the two Rincons that I had for ever. Has anyone went from quads to sxs’s and had a difficult time letting go of the ATV? I probably will not use them much??? What happened in your case??? Cheers.

I had to have one or the other, but I do miss ATVs. Especially lately, and judging by what seems like renewed interest in ATVs lately, im not the only one. There's just a lot less "baggage" with ATV's, esp in a world of $40k SxS's.

I still have the 2 strokes from the mid '80s (ATC and an Odyssey) as well as 4 ATVs from the '00s when I was taking teen age kids riding.
Now I have a small SxS.
It's too much to maintain that big of a fleet, 2 of the ATVs have dead batteries and haven't run at all this year.
One of the ATVs and the ATC n Odyssey haven't run in years - all 3 are 2 stroke.

My advice - sell them now while they still have some (cash) value.
If you wait too long the sentimental value zooms and you will never be able to let go of them.

🤔......I don't see the problem 🤷‍♂️ keep'm, there's always going to be someone in the family or friends that might need/want to ride one of the toys one day 🤷‍♂️. Always good to have spares/backups around. Keep a tender and some fuel stabilizer in them and enjoy!!

My 2 cents...

I bought my 04 Foreman new and have 12k km on it. Still use it to plow in the winter and it gets out a couple times a year usually when one of the kids bikes is down. I jump on it to go to the neighbours now and then. I will never sell it. It's too much fun but a little hard on my old body for an all day ride.

I won't ever sell the '14 Grizzly. My original justification to buy it was for plowing snow after my accident in 2012. But it became my 'wheeled therapy' that helped me come to terms with the fact that I'd never be able to ride motorcycles again after losing my leg in the accident. I moved to SXSs just a few years ago, but one of the kids will end up with it after I'm gone.
