Ok guys... I bought me a 40 inch curved Light-bar for the 700-4. I'm looking for mounting advice. I do have the SuperATV full windshield that flips open. I don't want it on the roof because I'm already taller than I want. Does someone make brackets that I could mount it to the cage in front of the lower part of the windshield? I thought about mounting it to the plastics in front of the windshield but I'm worried about the stability.

Right! Might be a good time to learn to weld too!
Oh trust me I'd love to learn someday. My 2 car garage is so full of my toys that I don't even have a spot for a welder Lol. My next house is going to have a big shop!
Currently in my garage:
1. Cobra Mustang
2. Ford Bronco
3. Honda Pioneer
4. 50 inch Cub Cadet Zero Turn mower
Yep straight out of room Haha!

Me and a buddy of mine fabbed up some mounts for the light bar. Let me tell you, I could stand on this thing! Lol. Very happy with the results! Now I can see!

Looks great!!! But be careful!! That metal fabbing is very contagious lol. Next thing you know you'll be making a front recovery point or rear spare tire carrier or even a rear bumper lol.

I like this idea.. I had contemplated doing a single row light bar above the flip out windshield but under the roof..

Thanks man... One of my soon to come projects is chopping the cage. Therefore I figured it was better to go low than high. I don't think there would be much difference either way but I'm digging the way it looks down low. Plus when my windshield flips out it goes nearly to the roof.

How will the chop affect your windshield options though?

I'm not totally sure yet. I may end up trimming the roof back some. I'm only dropping the front 4 inches (since it sits lower than the back) so I'll have to see how it affects it.

My next project is a small light bar on the rear. I have a gun case mounted in the bed behind the seat and it's a b**** to get the thing turned around at night!

I mounted mine on the hoodalthough it's just a 24" bar. It does vibrate a little at idle but doesn't appear to interfere with the function.

That solid bar is awesome though!!

Looks good, and you can still access the under hood area!
