P700 My new bench seat mod for rear

Took the new bench seat out this weekend. VERY comfy for the rear riders. That seat is a back rest from a 700 mounted to a 2x6. Comes out with 1 bolt, that is already existing between the seats. Can also squeeze in a 3rd rider. I also modified the front seat belt brackets to get a 3rd child up front. 700-6. 👍

Cool idea. I'd be curious to know how you modified the front seat belt brackets. They're a pain for a small center rider.

I unbolted them and replaced them with 3 or 4 links of heavy duty chain. Now they are flexible like a regular seat belt strap. I'll see if I have some pics.

Found a pic. It's one link of chain clipped into a small quick link and that is clipped into a large quick link that you can barely see. The other end of that large quick link is just bolted in where the bracket came out.

For the FRONT seat seat belt I ordered a 3 point harness. The 2 lap sides of the belt just tied into the chain links for the driver and passenger belt. (see the pic above). The 3rd point that Y's over both shoulders, I tied into the bolt at the center on the back of the front seat backrest. I just had to buy a longer bolt.
