I have a pioneer 700 deluxe. When I try to install the front bracket for my high lifter kit my headlight impedes the bracket from going in straight. Any help is appreciated.

i didnt put this one on. just read up alot about it. for the price of the 2.5 highlifter you can put 5 inches and buy a set of lights.

Instead of trimming. can you take a heat gun to it and shape it IN some.
is that with all models? just curious cause isnt the 17+ headlight housings bigger?

I forget what year. but around then they upgrade the housing so the Pioneer 1000 LED lights would fit without modificatin.

Is there a better option than the high lifter 2.5?

strongmade has 2.5 for like 120$. they make spring spacers that are from 1.5-3 inches for about 20-25 bucks. string made relocates the bottom of the shock instead of the top.

i wouldnt call 1 better than the other. they all do just about the same thing. the spring spacer will give it a little better ride than the other 2. but the strong made bottom relocate us the easiest to put on.

With the 2017 and newer 700 models, you'll need spring spacers to avoid hitting the back of the headlights. They make it ride a little better too. Here's a link to ours if you're interested. Honda Pioneer 700 2" Lift Kit
wait what?the shock or the tire hit the back of the headlight?

I'm pretty sure the lift bracket contacts the back of the headlight, but I guess it could also be part of the shock during travel. Pretty sure its just some interference with the bracket though. That's why we went to the spring spacer with the 2017+ models.

kind threw me off for a sec. was like if the shock going to hit its going to hit with spacer or not. not sure why they even make the top ones like that. unless strong made held all the patents for the bottom. when i got my lift. strong made and wheel spacers from a rincon were the only thing offered.
