I have a 2016 700-4. I recently had the valves adjusted cause I was getting a little noise. Since then I'm having trouble with it shifting and it seems like it is hitting a rev limiter at speeds anywhere from 8-20 mph. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Did it start after you had the valves adjusted? If so, you need to take it back and tell them it’s not right.

I agree take it back. Plus you still may have some warranty left . Let them worry with it.

Check your oil using this procedure and tell me what the oil level is.

It was low. Which didn't make since because I had recently changed the oil, but after I handed oil it shifted a little better but then noticed a little smoke when I was taking off and now you can smell burnt oil also

You need to pull the spark arrester out and make sure it’s clean. Check to make sure your spark plugs aren’t loose and then it’s time to check compression. Did you over fill it by chance?

have to badly over fill it. cause i run 3.5 quarts in my bike. have since day 1 back in February 2014. lol . check spark arrestor. if you let it go too long before adjusting valves you could need valve seals. which would explain low oil and smoke.
