I am going to hog Waller atv ride next month with some friends. Needless to say I am not doing on the stock tires. So that being said I’m about to order me some 4+3 vision wheels and 27” tires. I believe I have it narrowed down to 2 tires but I can’t decide which would be better for the P500. I’m looking at the CST wild thangs or the super swamped vampire 2. The total weight on the cst is 100 lbs and the total weight on the vampires are 120. Not sure if that will make a big difference or not. I just don’t want to get in some thick mud and can’t turn them. Which would you choose?

Not taking anything away from your choices, but I wanted to mention that Interco makes the R force in a 27, and I think they have some on the Blem list...(save $$) I have these in 30" and they bite onto tree roots and rocks, and do super in the mud. These are one of the lighter tires going.

I have never ran out of torque, but "roosting" mud into the air aint happening, but that really dont happen on a P5 anyway. When I did these tires they were considered big, guys on FB have put taller on. FWIW the tractor / AG lug cleans out easy so you are less likely to load them up on normal mud. I always tell people that a wider 27 will eat up as much power (if not more) than a narrow tall tire like these in the mud.

Good point. Did you have to do any frame mods?
