I have a 2017 honda pioneer sxs deluxe 100-5. Recently I bought a new set of tires and wheels. They are same size all the way around as I was told that this would be fine with a 3" lift that I had installed as well. They are Sedona Rock a Billy 28x10x14 with 14" wheels. I also have wheel spacers added. I think they are 1" all the way around. I am rubbing at in my fender well pretty bad. Enough where it wants to pull at the plastic. I was told by honda place today that I could install super atv forward A arms and this would be fine. I looked up the super atv arms and they specifically say that if run forward a arms with 3" lift that I would too need to purchase rhino axles. Now, the problem is that I would have to do this l/r front and rear due to the front adding 1.5" lift and 1.5" forward. I am hoping for a simple fix or tire/wheel change recommendation instead of a 1500 dollar fix. Any recommendations would be great. i would like to keep the wheels and tires if possible. Look forward to responses and recommendations. thanks in advance

Buy the foward arched arms and pull the lift off and they will clear. It will ride better without the lift also.

Thanks for input so far. My next question is that the lift was installed by a dealer. Are there any parts that will need to be added back to get lift kit off and shocks back to stock? It is the rough country 3" lift. I do not have any extra parts left over from install so i am hoping they can just take it off and still have a place to attach shocks. Thanks again in advance for reply

Yeah you should be fine. If you still need/want a little more ground clearance you can add the spring spacers. It'll give you a bout 2" and costs under $20

Did they have to remove any oem parts to install the rough country lift? If so, i do not have any of those parts. Just wanting to make sure that I can get the lift off and back to stock without problems.

You should be fine but I don't know 100%. Ive added bracket lifts to my four wheelers and you don't take anything OEM off. Maybe someone that's installed a lift on their pioneer can confirm.

yes, pretty bad there
My 28 inch evos rubbed there really bad at full compression. My machine was stock. I took a self tapping screw and pulled the plastic in and never rubbed amymore. There is a metal tube behind there to screw into. Might not be enough for u but it worked for me and at least 1 other person on here that I stole the idea from.

What offset wheels did you get? Adding spacers in the front makes the rub worse some times.

With the bracket lift that's installed there are no OEM parts that come off. All it does it relocate your shocks and makes your ride terrible. Ditch the bracket lift.

With the size tires you upgrades to you should have no problems with rubbing I upgraded to 14" 5+2 wheels all the way around and only 1" spacers in the rear to make it the same width. No spacers in the front. My tires are 28x10-14 Maxxis Carnivores. I have zero rubbing anywhere. And these tires run true to size. The combo of your wheel offset, front spacers and the bracket lift that actually brings the wheels in closer is throwing everything off.

I am not sure on the offset of the wheel. Is there a place on the wheel that I could get this off of?. Also, What is the best offset and wheel type to purchase. 5+2? and what brand? I am looking for the best option. Not wanting to go with forward a arms but will if have to.

Well I believe factory is 4+3 front and 6+1 rear. I know the setup I have is 5+2 on all 4 so I could rotate tires. Adding the 1" spacers in the rear just made it the same width. I just did research on others rides before I decided on what worked.

Is there a place on the wheel that says what the offset is? I purchased these from the dealer and they never specified. If I can find out that they are the same then can deduct from there based off of your setup. They are definitely the same all the way around as well for the same purpose of rotation.
