Talon Nerf bar installation help!

Am I supposed to take off or cut the plastic? Any help would be great.

I did see some brackets in front of rear wheel. On frame. Figured the rear mounted to them.

Should have the downloadable install instructions online with the accessories. But after checking, they are not linked to them like the Pioneer lineup.

I got the
nerf bars
front rear aluminum bumpers
half windshield
rear view mirror
A arm guards
Trailing arm guards

Got them all installed no instructions it worked out.

According to the instructions I have, the drivers and passengers side skid plates need trimmed. Apparently there is a scribe line on that part that should be used to guide your cut.

I am confused. You have to trim the existing side plates to install nerf bars? The score line is on nerf bars or side plates?

The instructions aren't super great ill admit. Ill post them here so everyone can look.


It appears to me that there is a scribe line from the factory on the plastic skid plate that wraps under the side bar directly below the doors, you use that line to trim out for the nerf bars to mount.

Yes you have to take them off and on the inside there is a spot you have to cut out.
