P1000 New 1000-5 LE owner

Hey everyone. I just purchased a new 1000-5 LE. I live in Oak Ridge, TN and looking for some places to ride. I have three kids and my wife will be with me so want some fairly easy trails to get them use to riding. I have not put a winch on yet because Honda wanted $300 for mount and $500 for winch. I knew I could do better as I have done my research. I did put a roof and windshield on, what other accessories do you recommend? Also what do you guys use for radios and speakers? Thanks for your support and help. Used this site to do some research before I bought.

I think Hondasxs.com's store is running some sales on winches as we speak. I have a Viper Max [HASHTAG]#4500[/HASHTAG] with red synthetic 1/4" rope and like it.

Welcome from southern Indiana. A winch would be on the top of my list. These things are far to heavy to push if you ever get stuck.

Welcome to the club. You'll want a winch for sure. Even if you use it twice a year you will darn glad you have it.

It depends how hard you plan to be on it. I'm a Warn guy but there are a lot of good options. The forum is also offering some good black Friday deals .
