hello everyone, im excited to have just purchased my first sxs. A pioneer 1000-5. I have many questions about upgrading it, but the first thing i want to do is put a frame brace on and a kid plate kit that will work with the frame brace..so if you have recommendations, please share...look forward to hearing from yoy

I've seen on here where the crossmembers have had some "relocation" done to them. Essentially they were bent up and either rubbing or coming close to rubbing

Its called a frame brace but it actually braces lower a arm mounting tabs

@DDDonkey. has the frame brace. I can't remember if he has a skid plate or not?

WELCOME from NW Arkansas! Nice looking buggy! Skids are a must. If you put a hard top on, expect it to be noisier than running just with out. I copied some guys here, I run the hard top and the Alien Shade at the same time, if I know it's not going to rain, I remove the hard top, it's quieter and cooler. Have fun!
