New owner in WV

Hello, I'm xmountaineer

Hello all. Looking forward to reading and learning more about my Pioneer. Bought a 2018 1000-5 Deluxe last weekend essentially as a mother’s day present for my wife. She’ll most likely be the one driving it around, toting our 3 kids around the farm. I have a lot of off road driving experience with Jeeps and my passion was rock crawling. Sold the Jeep to start a family and the pioneer is the way to get back in to it. Ive started to make some trails through the mostly wooded 130 acres around us. Have an abandoned road and a couple hundred other acres to ride on right around my house. I’m not a fan of mud but there’s lots of it around. I’ve got a lot of washouts that should provide a challenge. Anyway, just wanted to pop in and say hi. I’ll be more of a lurker and question asker until I get a lot more seat time.

Have you ever been down to Wellsville? Back when I had my Jeep we used to go up there a bunch. That was my favorite place to go. There was always talk of that area getting developed, I guess I should check it out again. We used to enter down by route 7 but I guess it might be run by the forbidden zone ATV park or something like that.

My wife wanted anything but Red. Everything else we own is red. And growing up her dad only bought red. So yellow it is! Lol.
