Hello, I'm JapCrap

New owner with mixed feelings. Love the power and ride quality, but my engine developed a loud ticking noise from the top end roughly 50 miles after the first oil change. Checked the valves with no issues. The exhaust decompressioners seem to be the source of the noise but im not that familiar with these engines. Any input is appreciated.

I don't know much about these engines mine has been quiet from day 1. You did the first service have you checked your oil levels? I wonder if it's lifters like on a car, what oil was used with the service?

Welcome to the forum there is a lot of good information and people on here. Wish you put a little more consideration into your screen name, might not be appreciated by some. @Hondasxs is this screen name ok?

The name isn' meant to be negative. I' a die hard Toyota guy and have ridden Japanese motorcycles for years. I've found my issue. Bent connecting rod due to sucking in water at speed. Thanks for the welcomes.
