I parked my new 2021 Pioneer with 84 miles in the garage yesterday while operating just fine. Tried to start it today and after finally starting and running rough, dies when I put it in gear. It seems to be running too rich with fuel. Anyone have any idea what could be wrong? Thanks

Did it turn over really slow? Check battery level and connections. Also fuse.

I see the Club Store sells the fuel injector wiring repair. I'm almost certain it's a fuel injector problem. Would you suggest I replace these? I have read that the dealer might keep my machine for weeks and replace the complete wiring harness.

I dont think there is anyway that's your problem on a 2021. Unless rats have been chewing on you.

I know it's 2021 and 84 miles but when did you buy it. If you just been doing short trips to the mail box and back, I would change plugs and see what it does.

Bad gas? May have water in it, the factory gas vent is an easy path. Most have rerouted it.
Usually happend from washing.

I would use your warranty and have the dealer fix, if you do this and it doesn’t work the dealer will see where you spliced and probably deny warranty on electrical.

It could be a simple fix for the dealer vs you chasing it down.

Kinda had same problem but mine started burning oil I took mine to the dealer because it was burning oil they found a loose clamp on something with the throttle body said it wash obvious it never got tightened at factory. The dealer then told me one cylinder had 85 psi and the other had 110 on the compression test so more or less needs a rebuild. Honda say they won’t cover it because I didn’t do my service right or I would’ve caught the problem even though the missed it from the factory the dealer I bought it from missed it and it took my local dealer 2 tries to find the problem. Just curious if anyone had any suggestions.

Warranties are covered only when the shop does paperwork correctly.
